DOSBOX Windows appearance/audio problem

Total n00b here. I installed DosBox and now whenever I turn my computer on it reverts itself to the classic gray old windows appearance rather than the blue XP one I have selected. When it does this it also turns off my audio card so that the computer can't recognize it. I uninstalled it but the problem is still occurring. Any help would be great.

DOSBox could not have caused your problem. It does not make any changes to your system. All the installer does is unpack the DOSBox files into its program folder and add shortcuts to the start menu. The problem must be elsewhere. You could try a system restore.
