Hello,

I have an ATI mobility Radeon X1350 and an 8x5 screen (1440x900, square pixels). Now DosBOX seems to copy the aspect ratio from my screen: the aspect it uses is 8x5 also (even if I use only 1152x864 pixels of the screen). DosBOX decreases one of both dimensions to get this aspect ratio. But I want DosBOX to run in 4x3. How can I arrange that?

See the dosbox.conf settings under [sdl] (output= and the resolution= entries)
as well as the [render] section, that is aspect/scaler.
Maybe you find a combination that suits your needs.

The problem is that the argument of resolution= is made smaller in one direction until it has the aspect ration 8x5
