Hi,

I used Dosbox for the first time over the weekend to run Champ Manager 97/98. All seemed fine but when I restarted the machine the next day I got an error saying that 'ntfs.sys is missing or corrupt' (i.e. game over).

Is this a dosbox bug or just coincidence?

Cheers.

probably coincidence. Or did you do a mount c c:\
and ordered the game to format your harddisk or so ?

But for interest's dake I'd really like to know what that game did to your c:\ drive (if it wasn't bad coincidence or timing). It could serve as a perfect example why you shouldn't do that (mount c c:\).

I would do a full scan of your HD, memory, and processor burn-in if your NTFS.sys driver got corrupted....
