How do i copy/paste text into the dosbox window.

I need to do this because dosbox doesn't understand non-us keyboards and the keymapper is crap.

you can't.
You may want to look at the keyboardlayout entry in the configuration file of dosbox.

Done, but the keymapper still refuses to cooperate.

I decided to restore my old mothballed 486.
I find it slightly amusing that it takes less time to restore an old mothballed computer than it takes to get an emulator to print the correct character.

I must comment this.

I think, the mapper has been implemented the best way it was possible for a platform-independent piece of software. A better keymapper GUI maybe can be realized by frontends, isn't it, Erik? 😉
