I'm using gulikoza's dosbox and I have a problem with running DosBox with pixelshaders on, on my laptop.

On my desktop computer the pixelshaders work perfectly, I copied the whole dosbox folder to my laptop, so nothing is changed in dosbox.conf and other files. Dosbox runs well on my laptop. However, pixelshaders don't work.
I Alt+Tabbed out of dosbox to see the status window, and I found 2 suspicious lines: D3D:Dynamic textures NOT supported. Performance will suffer!
D3D:Hardware PS version too low. Disabling support for shaders.

What could be the problem? It's not the I simply didn't turn on direct3d in dosbox.conf it's turned on.
The laptop has a mobility radeon video card, with (I think) 32 MB of videoram.

Is there any way to make pixelshaders work, or the problem is that the video card of the laptop is too weak?

Well I remember using Gulikoza's shaders on my ATI X800 video card which supports SM2. It's possible your video card only supports SM1.

So if it's a DX8 video card then it's SM1.

Your graphics card is too weak, shaders will not work. Most shaders require SM2, some need SM3 and only 1 (scale2x_ps14) works with SM1.4. There's little you can do besides playing on your desktop computer or using software scalers.

Hmm, so the problem is what I thought was the problem. Oh, well at least it runs dosbox well, and direct3d works too, so even if it stretches the screen to fit the whole display at a lower resolution, the screen doesn't appear blurred. At least that's something.
