That's the point. With the frontends it is no big deal to start a new DOSBox for each game. When you exit DOSBox, the frontend will still be running with its list of games. There is nothing that a DOS menu system can do that cannot be done better by DBGL or D.O.G., except possibly nostalgia.

Of course you are right, that these frontends can do more. Basically I was pointing out that

in fact it has the distinct disadvantage of not allowing custom DOSBox configuration for each game.
