First of all hi 😀

What i wanna do .

I want to make a bootble USB flash drive to put all old dos games in .

BUT the problem is i cant transfer the system files to the USB flash
(sys.com isnt working)

Any ideas ?

don't use dosbox to create it.
lowlevel stuff like placing bootable files isn't supported with regular mount. you might want to imgmount the whole drive. but I doubt that this is supported n the windows version of dosbox

Okay. Now - assume that you manage to make a bootable USB flashdrive, that boots into DOS..... Since DOS can't see itself, how can it see itself?

Your bios must support booting from usb. Mine doesn't have it. Other than that, it's perfectly feasible.

Yeah, should be possible to make it boot Linux and then run DOSBox from there.

I think you're missing the point. I think his idea is to boot to real DOS. He was only using DOSBox to transfer the system to the USB drive, but I don't think that DOSBox has the SYS command. Perhaps this should be in the DOS or PC forum.
