DBGL's glide button is greyed out - i have dbvoodoo and glidewrapper but i cant get carmageddon 1 to run under vista using carmav.exe - it does run with carma.exe.
Or: does anyone know how to get the best display for Carmageddon using dosbox? 😀
It's greyed out on purpose. To activate those options you need a special build of DOSBox that support them.
Such as this one. The official builds of DOSBox don't support them and may never do. Edit a profile using ykhwong's build and the options will be available.
ah - thanks for the info - though so far it seems like the best graphics i can get for carmageddon is to run it on a windows 95 vm. go figure....
