Uhm... buy a smaller monitor? Adjust the vertical and horizontal to make the screen display smaller? These games appear big because the resolution was was so low during the time those games were made.

Under DOSBOX configuration file put Keepsmall=true and scalers=none

config options were changed.

Large as in everything can't fit on the screen.

Also the config changes didn't work for me.

I would guess that you either need to disable scaling or adjust your monitor settings to make the picture smaller, as others have suggested. If these solutions don't work for you, then please explain in detail why.

I can change the screen size a bit, but it looks pretty distorted. I'm at 1024 by 768 resolution if that helps.

I'm pretty sure that DOSBox uses the original resolutions when running full-screen. Are you using an LCD monitor?

Dosbox .58 worked fine with my same monitor, so I dunno what to say. 😕
