Since no game needs it, I doubt it will ever happen.

Don't be so hard Mirek 😀.
It will happen if someone takes the time to implement it, and I remember qbix saying that printing to a file was doable.

Anyway, I'll have to learn c++ and collaborate in dosbox.

XP supports printing text from a
dos stock charting program
that arethe bestever made, but not
graphic.I could therefor not print the charts to a HP Laser Jet.
To start dos programs on fast pc
over 800 hz I have to use a program slowing down the pc and then start
the dos program. It is a borland bug
effecting mostly dose programs.
After the dos program starts in windows xp then I tell the downlsowing pc program to stopp
and the dos program now runns
at full pc hz speed since it was started at lower pc hz.
The dos program though does not run in full windows mode as prevoius
windows versions.
Microsoft has delited the dos functions so please develope the printing option for graphic mode.
Moste games supports graphic
and printing out would be nice.
I dont kow if bosbox supports pc slowdown for starting the borland bugged dos programs, but will add
information when found on my other pc. How to.
1. Slowdown pc from HZ tp HZ
2. Set time for slowdown
3. Start dos program after set time
to start.
4. Quitt to full HZ according to set time for slow down.

Request:
5. Printing in grapic mode.

There has been a printing patch available for DOSBOX (see patches section on sourceforge) for some time - it includes printing to PNG files, Postscript files and even natively in Windows.
However it was not yet integrated into DOSBOX. 🙁 I have no idea whether it will be in the next version or not. It is probably viewed as low priority.

Hi,

Try Virtual PC 2004, there's a trial version here:

I've had no problems running MS-DOS 6.22 under Virtual PC, and printing worked very well for me (although I didn't try to print graphics, only text I must confess).

Cheers.
