I always used to find DosBox start up a pain, that was until I installed D-Fend, now we have the DBGL - even better.

However, now that I am on the go a lot I would like to play the old skool adventure games on my phone (N900) the SCUMM emulator works fine, but DosBox is a bit of a pain to run - will DBGL be ported to Maemo phones like the N900?

No, as yet there is no official SWT support for the Maemo platform. You can check the main DBGL thread for some more info on an experimental Maemo SWT build, though, and maybe check if that works on your phone.
