How do I change directory without closing and restarting DOSBox ?

Maybe a stupid question, but how can I do that, assuming that it IS possible ?
I put the following lines in the dosbox.conf:
mount c c:\dosgames
c:
Now when I close a game with Esc I return to the DOSBox screen and see
C:\Name of the directory with the game.
How can I change to another directory ? The only way I can do it until now is by closing DOSBox and restarting it again.

Both real DOS and DOSBox's pretend DOS have a command named cd which is short for "change directory".

Yep, or you can also do cd .. one or more times to move up one level at a time.
