Ok, here's the deal. I've read the entire readme file at least 100 times and I tried a wide variety of things in dosbox but I still don't get the following to work:

I want to run a game. The game's executable is on my D drive. I start up dosbox and get a Z:\ prompt. I type:

mount c d:\[the entire path towards the dir where the .exe is located]

It says it has mounted c on the d drive at the path of the .exe. Now here's where I'm stuck. I have tried typing:

dosbox [name] with name being the entire path including the .exe file.
[name].exe with name being just the name of the executable.
cd C: to try and switch to the c drive, just says it can't
cd D: same as above.

I don't get it, what am I doing wrong here? Please do explain, because I really love the game and hate to see it lost in WinXP.

Thanx, that worked...tho the executable still doesn't work but that probably isn't because of dosbox. It gives the normal startup stuff, like copyrights and stuff, but then just exits dosbox and doesn't do anything. I think that has something to do with the game which was Transport Tycoon Deluxe for Dos btw, tryin to get it running under windows XP...anyone have any other ideas of how to get that working?
