the cmdline version of fluidsynth has this "--chorus" switch to turn the chorus on or off.
Is there a way to turn the switch off in dosbox.conf?

DOSBox does not handle Fluidsynth directly.
If you are using a built with Fluidsynth support, contact the one who made this build.
