Hello, I've done some searching but I can't find anything that seems to describe my problem. When I try to go full screen on my Lenovo L420 running Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, it goes full screen but the screen doesn't update. I can hear the game running (any game) in the background but the screen stays frozen as the same as it was when I pressed ALT-ENTER. If I ALT-ENTER again it goes back to a window and the screen starts updating again and the game plays normally. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks.

Paul

Change output= in dosbox.conf to a different value.

Thank you SOOOOO much! That did the trick! I tried several setting and ddraw worked the best. I'm so happy to be able to play epic pinball again and in full screen on my laptop! I owe you a beer!

If you've tried all the output options then your only option is to upgrade or downgrade your video drivers.

Hopefully you are changing the right dosbox.conf

so after reading your reply i did some more looking around and found THE conf file but windows wont let me open it without downloading a new program. the file that i was changing was the DOSbox 0.74 options which is a batch file but when i open it it comes up in notebook and the first line says this is the configuration file for dosbox.

The dosbox options link should open it with Notepad, but it is the dosbox.conf that you want.
