OK... So it is supposed to be more accurate and sound better.
Can anyone give a list of games that there is a noticeable difference?
I would like to compare just to hear the differences.

What new SB code are you referring to?
The sound blaster OPL code was updated between I think version .072 and .074 with claims of being faster and more accurate. It would be nice to have a list of games where the improvement is noticeable.
I recall from Trying to find out about a particular AWE32 that Monkey Island 2, Heretic, and Solar Winds are good choices.
Thanks but that post seems to mostly focus on the AWE32 and OPL3...
Whereas I was thinking of the normal Sound Blaster 16 and OPL2..
The changelog says this..
- Add two new opl2+opl3 emulators. (better speed, different implementation
approach)
Which implies that the new code is just faster. I thought for sure I remember someone saying it sounded better or was more accurate or something. I guess maybe not so.
