Is it possible to configure Windows or Dosbox to ask / prompt when closing dosbox?
i.e "Do you really want to close?"

So that you accidentally dont close Dosbox on the cross in the right corner without having saved your data... extremely irritating...
Running in Windows 8.1

Any suggestions are appreciated

"Save your data?" Remember that DOSBox is for games and is not suited for applications. Such a feature is really needed by games. Yyou can make it full screen so there are no Windows buttons. Otherwise, it is open source, so you can alter the code yourself.
