When I try to run the setup executeable or the program start executeable for "Perfect General 2" DOSBox returns this error:

Loader error (0000): unrecognized error

If I run the program executeable in XP without dosbox then I get as far as the main menu before I get a general system freeze. I have read the Dosbox readme and understand DOS commands.

I have tried with sound disabled.

IBM Thinkpad R40 (??)
* Processor type and speed
Pentium 4-M 2.0 Ghz which appears to mean 1.2 Ghz
* Amount and type of RAM
256 MB
* Video board w/ RAM amount and type
ATI Radeon Mobile

* Game name (and version, if applicable)
