I believe that the display of the FPS during a game is useful. Also this could be used by DOSBox (in the future, where PC's become more powerful) to find an optimum speed for a game automatically,by trying to reach a specific FPS (eg 30). What do you think?

uhr. this isn't zsnes 😀

dosbox runs 90 % of the time at 70 frames per second as that is the refresh rate of vga/svga 😀

if you set frameskip dosbox runs at 70/(1+frameskip) frames per second.
