Can you play sounds in Windows 3.1? Do you have the soundblaster drivers for Windows 3.1 installed in DOSBox?

If you expect anyone to ever be able to help you, you need to learn how to describe your problems in better terms than "it sure was dos something".
You need to install the game in Win3x. Once it works from the Program Manager then just add it to the Start Group.
Hello, I am a newbie when it comes to DOS emulation, but this thread has been very helpful for an issue I have been struggling with for the last days. I have a similar question about how to auto launch a Windows 3.11 game, in my case Civilization II, and add it to my RetroArch playlist for DOS-games.
If I understand this correctly there are basically two steps for me to get this working:
Location for my windows.bat file:
F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C
Location for the game (Sid Meier's Civilization II.zip):
F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS
Configuration of the doxbox.conf-file:
[autoexec]
mount c "F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C"
mount d " F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS \Sid Meier's Civilization II.zip"
c:
win d:\Civ2Gold\MPS\CIV2\Civ2.exe
After doing all of the above and trying to start I get this error message:
C:\>MOUNT C F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C Drive C already mounted with local directory F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C\Games\Civ2Gold\ […]
C:\>MOUNT C F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C
Drive C already mounted with local directory F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C\Games\Civ2Gold\MPS\CIV2\C:\>MOUNT D F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C\Games\Civ2Gold\MPS\CIV2\
Drive D is mounted as local directory F:\RetroArch\roms\DOS\311\C\Games\Civ2Gold\MPS\CIV2\C:\>c:
C:\>cd windows
Unable to change to: windowsC:\>win D:\CIV2.exe
Illegal command: win.C:\>
The thing is, I have been able to get the game running by first launching Windows 3.11, and then starting the game through the file manager. But here I am abviously doing something wrong, so if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.
