That would be kinda funny if an old DOS virus inadvertantly started proliferating (or had a different effect) on our beefed up WinXP machines of today. (Lying there dormant for so long) Hopefully no one will write one on purpose. Hmm this is getting less funny the more I think about it. Has anyone ever tried this with another emulator? (Like written an NES ROM that went berzerk when it was opened by a specific emulator)

Personally what I find funny is when people point out stuff that people never even thought of in the first place till that person said it, which leads to those people going and doing that exact thing because of it.

What I find rather amusing is the fact that I can install and play Command and Conquer: Red Alert just fine under WINE, but The Aftermath add-on will not install for me under WINE... Yet if I use Dos Box to install the add-on disc, I can then run the Win95 version just fine under WINE with no problems at all. 😀
