If all else fails the game is available legally and very cheaply in a completely pre-configured form at GOG.com.

My thanks... I must say though that the two times I've made a post, only one (yours) was helpful, and both bearing slightly annoyed condescension. The one on GOG is not the CD version, and I already have the disk for it, I just didn't want to look for it before. But thanks again =)

Just so you know, Dominus is a moderator and asking for help with abandonware is not allowed. That fact that it was not a legit copy is probably why there are missing files like the setup.
