For some reason, I need dosbox to run as a PCDOS system,
how is it possible to make dosbox work like a PCDOS machine?

The same way as any other DOS: you get an image of the appropriate bootdisk and use the BOOT command.

If your purposes require unusual IBM-exclusive hardware, then don't use DOSBox.
