I have my USB Logitech Sidewinder 3d Pro joystick plugged in and I am able to start up Mechwarrior 2 in Windows 10 through Dosbox 0.74, getting it to play fine in 1024x768, sound is perfect, everything is perfect, but the joystick doesn't respond at all. Do I need to go into Ctrl+F1 and rebind stuff? Because I don't like doing that, I tried in "Crusader: No Regret" to rebind arrow keys to WASD and the game bugged out over time.

Where can I "activate" USB joystick support for Mechwarrior 2? Do I need to change something in any conf-file? The regular Dosbox conf-file I have made for MW2 says in the joystick section:

joysticktype=auto
timed=true
autofire=true
swap34=false
buttonwrap=false

What else can I do?
