I have diffeculty running Tempest 2000 with cd music. In the configuration program I selected a sb pro and as music cd (audio) music. When running Tempest I get somekind of a error sound but somehow the cd music is playing. When mounting the cdrom I did the followling mount e e:\ -t cdrom -ioctl. Any suggestions?
I discoverd when adding extra cycles the beeping noise goes almost away. Only then the game runs slowers. I added as much cycles as possible, still the beeping noise remains. And then the game is so slow that i cant play the game anymore....
I am finding I have exactly the same problem. Only with the CD music, tho. If I play it without the CD and use Adlib sound the game works just peachy.
So my guess is either that CD music is not fully implemented in DOSBox or it's something with Tempest specifically, but since they're just plane-jane CD tracks, I'm guessing the former. Can someone confirm this for us?
