Hello!

I start Dosbox by double clicking on the .exe file, and I always get a very annoying console window to go with the main window.

I don't want to create a .bat file with flags for turning it off (I'm using XP, after all), so I wonder, is there a .conf setting for disabling the window?

start dosbox with -console
or -noconsole I always forget as I love the console.

Exactly. And how do I do that in XP without creating a .bat file? I just want to double click on the .exe file and be away. Couldn't there be a .conf file setting for that as well as the argument?

commandline arguments ? It's not that hard just change it in the shortcut.
