How to get keyboard and mouse visualizers to see DOSBox input?

Hi, sorry if this has come up already...

I can't get either AvKpv (a recently created keyboard/mouse visualizer) or another visualizer I tried earlier to actually see my inputs when I play DOSBox games. Does this have anything to do with DOSBox to begin with or does anyone have a clue what I should be doing? I'm hoping to be able to show my key presses and mouse when I'm speedrunning.

I just know that it also doesn't work when it's focused on a Unity program someone wrote.

I can't believe all I needed to do was RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR. I tried two different visualizers just now and they both work this way.

You choose from various presets and edit it (in the program itself) to your liking. I don't think you can add new keys but you can always turn a key you don't need into the key that was missing by editing it. Seems pretty simple.
