No, I compiled all the dosbox executables using the environment I created and uploaded.
The various utilities (should be mentioned in the guide) that are part of MSYS I had to download and replace the ancient utilities due to the old utilities having bugs, for example wget unable to connect to sites, versioning software that may have not been included or were old, utilities required by dosbox dependencies to compile that had bugs, etc etc.
I'm going off of memory so some of the above examples may not be exactly correct.
