Pretty sure I'm just screwing it up. Star Legions. It's on my C drive under DOSBOX\OLDGAMES I think I'm mounting the drive correctly---- C C:DOSBOX\OLDGAMES\

So then it should be CD C:
Then DOSBOX\OLDGAMES>SL.EXE

Right?

Thoughts or suggestions?

If you did...

mount c c:\dosbox\oldgames\

...then you need to do...

cd c:\

...so that your prompt looks like...

C:\>

...then simply do...

SL.EXE

...because the path that you give in the mount command (dosbox\oldgames) becomes the root of the drive in DOSBox.

If that doesn't work, then your mount command is probably not correct. If the dosbox.exe that you're running is in your "dosbox" folder, then your mount command should be just...

mount c oldgames

...with the rest of the commands the same as above.

Dosbox.exe is not in my Dosbox folder. So the mounting is correct.

SL.EXE doesn't do anything. I'll tinker around with it. Thanks for the help

Edited. Figured it out but the game won't progress past the main screen. Still tinkering.

SL.EXE is only a launcher. It runs LOGO.EXE (which I'm guessing is what you mean by "main screen") and then runs LOKS.EXE. Try simply running LOKS.EXE directly from the command line, instead.

Quick and dirty: add a shortcut to Dosbox on your desktop and drag‘n‘drop sl.exe on the shortcut
