There are no DOS sound drivers for almost anything made after about the year 2000 or so.

Basically, if it doesn't say "Sound Blaster" anywhere, or it wasn't made in the 1990's, the odds are very slim.

The only built-in AC'97 setup I'm aware of that has DOS capability is the VIA 82C686 south bridge. That was last used with P3 and Athlon motherboards. Furthermore, to my knowledge, every modern motherboard of has been stripped of the features required to operate a PCI sound card in one of the ISA bus compatibility modes.
