May be you like the following infos.
I am not too deep into DosBox but i have managed to get a certain version to work in Virtaul Reality with the VR Driver "VorpX".

It was HUGE, to play Dungeon Keeper 1 on a 100 inch Cinema Srceen. (not Stereoscopic of coarse)
