Hello:
I've been using DOS Box (DB) for a couple of years now to emulate a 16-bit platform on an Acer desktop running Windows 7 Pro. Yesterday it stopped working or more specifically, it loads fine yet when it opens my emulated window, it stops and Windows provides the very useful troubleshooting tip "(Not responding)".

Fixed by a reboot. Thanks for reading. 😊

As soon as I figure out how I'll take this down.

I'd recommend trying VDosPlus as it's more oriented to DOS office software. Dosbox is primarily focussed on gaming and this is where the devs provide support.

Thanks gd. I just restarted my desktop and suddenly DOSBox is working again. Yay.
