Hello all, I am very impressed with DOSbox and once I get it operational on all my computers - all the problems out of the way - I am considering donating two or three pounds a month.

I have a problem, if I use the standard settings and simply bring up DOSbox into a DOS text mode display put it into full screen, after a second or two Windows 10 complains that the wrong display mode is showing, in this case 1920x1200.

If I scroll the display by pressing enter only 2/3 of the screen scrolls leaving the remaining 1/3 stuck.

If I change the 'original' settings for the fullscreen and doublebuffered resolutions to 1920x1200 the display shows in the centre like a stamp on an envelope, tiny.

I would so love to fix this problem as I so enjoy playing Dungeon Keeper.

So what is the resolution of your screen ?

Does windowed mode work correctly ?

maybe give output=ddraw and fullresolution=1024x768 and aspect=true a try ?

Water flows down the stream
How to ask questions the smart way!

I have previously reported this problem. It seems to have something to do with refreshing and overlapped windows when one switches between windows.

I did not see this bug under Windows XP. For me, it started with Windows 7.

Since I use DOSBox for non-games, I have not expected you to care. I just live with it.

Sincerely,
