Hello !
This is my first post.
My aim is to use DOSBox for reading old archives stored on 3.5 and 5.25 floppies. The floppies are supposed to be on drive A, the unpacking software in the Program Files folder on drive C. I wonder how I can copy or move the PKUNPAK software from C:\Program Files to a virtual DOSBox drive. Should I first copy my .ARC files to the same (physical) directory as the unpacking software ? English is not my mothertongue and the "intro" aso files didn't help me very much.
Thank you in advance for any help to a perfect newbie.
regards
Pierre

Welcome to the forum. 😀

Create a local directory on your drive.
Copy everything you want into that directory (maybe in subdirectories).
Mount that directory as C:\ inside DOSBox.

Hello dr_st,
So did I and it worked perfectly. All my old stuff on 3.5" disks is safe !
Thank you very much. Now I hope I'll find a way to read my even older 5.25" floppies !
Best regards
Pierre
