I've installed DOSbox (0.74) on Mint Linux (19,1). It seems to work, and I can manually set up Ultima 7 and play, However, I can't find dosbox.conf anywhere on the drive. A search reveals nothing on the drive. Any suggestions?
By default, new DOSBox installations put the configuration file in the user profile, rather than in the DOSBox directory. For Linux:

If you move it to the DOSBox directory (or created a different one), then the one in the DOSBox directory should take priority (at least on Windows it does).

Should be in .dosbox/ in your home directory (hidden folder, pressing Ctrl+H shows hidden files & folders in the Mint filemanager).
