Error: Insufficient Files Provided by DOS. When running old App

Hi!

I'm trying to run an old dos based accounting application in dosbox. On running the app exe i get the following error:

Insufficient Files Provided by DOS

I'm assuming that the dos provided with dosbox may not be as complete as ms-dos or free-dos ... is there a way to add other files like copycon edit etc to dosbox?

Some apps/games use some weird checks whether there are enough Files. The problem is almost certainly in that check (DOSBOX has hardcoded Files=100 or some number like that - I do not remember).

Probably nothing much you can do (we do not know your application...). In the next version you will be able to use disc images and to install directly another DOS version. This may help.
