I may not know what I'm talking about here but... how do i direct the midi output to my AUDIGY's wave table? It may be already but i'd like to know how this is emulated and how to control it. Thanks!
It's up to windows to select the midi device. You can choose it by going to control panel->sounds and multimedia->Audio->Midi music playback (this might be a bit different, depending on which version of Windows you have). Select Audigy port A or B (these are the ones that use the soundfont banks). You can also try other...select the one you like best. I'd also recommend to get some quality soundfonts, the included ones are not that good. You can also try to find AWE32 soundfont - if you had that card, games just don't sound right otherwise 😁
