I am having some problems with config in dosbox. Could you help me ?

I am using windows xp and dosbox v.0.61. When I was using win98se
before. I used to work on a software made in clipper in 1992. A long
time ago. Then there are 2 lines that must be set in config.sys of
windows 98 to make it work.

files=100
buffers=30

How can I set these lines in DOSBOX ?

The system work but when I try to access the DBF´s files (where i keep
all the information about my accountanting) the system stop. It doesnt
let me to type then I must close the application.

Please I need your help.
