Hello
I'm french (sorry for my poor english 😅 ), so I'm using a french keyboard under Windows XP. DOSBox 0.61 used Windows layout : it worked perfectly, but 0.62 doesn't use : I got a qwerty keybord instead of my french azerty.
The keymapper can solve the problem of letters, but it's hard to configure the other characters...
Do you know a solution for that ?
Why not to use still Windows layout ?

Get keyb command from FreeDOS, and FR layout. I'm spanish and I work with KEYB SP... with no problems.

I have found your solution 2 days ago but I couldn't post.
In details :
Download the files :
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/fre … yb/kb2pre1x.zip
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/fre … ut/KPDOS10X.zip

Extract keyb.exe from the first and fr.kl from the second (you can find other langages in the .zip file).
Add at the end of dosbox.conf the following line :
c:\path\keyb.exe fr,,c:\path\fr.kl
(replace "c:\path" with the adapted path)

You should not have used keymapper, or delete mapper.txt file.

And use your azerty keyboard. 😉
