Hello!

I've been playing PC games for over 11 years now and sometimes I like to
reinstall old classics (Wing Commander 3-, Magic Carpet, etc. )
or I still have some old DOS games on my 'ToDo' list
(Earth 2140, a 'late' DOS game from 1997!).
Only a few days ago I finally solved Tomb Raider 1 (on a Win98 box
in a DOS window).
I still own all my old PCs (more than 10 ...) but the old DOS boxes
are not connected anymore (running out of monitors ...).
So I normally try to make the games work using Linux and DOSEMU
on a newer PC, but with very mixed results.
Videos from Wing Commander don't play properly because
the DOSEMU CD-ROM driver is too slow (?), Earth 2140 works
with many restrictions, and so on ...

So I have been really happy yesterday, when I discovered that this
small DOSBox package on my WinXP box can be used to view the
Wing Commander videos without (serious) problems.
The list of supported and runable games looks very promising.
