I recently downloaded a few games from one of the leading abandonware websites, and unzipped them, but when I try to load them, I get a message saying that these games cannot run on my computer. Can someone please help me? (btw, I am running Windows 10).
"Abandonware" will never get support here.
That being said, they are not going to run on Windows 10 natively. You need to know what OS they were built for originally... probably MS-DOS or an early version of Windows.
If DOS, use DOSBOX. If an early version of Windows... then either set up a VM or build yourself a retro computer.
Do not ask for help on illegally obtained apps or games here. Sadly so called abandonware falls in that category. Thread locked. Please ask for help wherever you got that from.
