I seem to recall reading somewhere (a CVS changelog maybe?) about FOSSIL support being added to DOSBox. As an ex-BBS Sysop from back in the day, this is very interesting to me! Does this mean that it will be possible for people to run telnet-based BBS software and set it up to pass things off to DOSBox to run old DOS door games? Has anyone tried this yet?

I used to use Synchronet (http://www.synchro.net/), which seems to still be around as an awesome freeware, open-source telnet AND modem multinode BBS software for DOS, Win32, OS/2, and *nix/*BSD. It would be cool if SBBS could be used in conjunction with DOSBox under Linux to run DOS doors/externals via telnet. I just looked at the SBBS docs and it seems that some people are doing this with DOSemu (which I know nothing about, as I'm not much into Linux these days).
