I don't rescue to mount c: because i don't know the name and the path of my directories: how does this work on mac osx? I tried like
mount c harddisc or mount c users\admin\desktop and so on but i think i'm failing because of my ignorance of the mac working system

At least regarding Petit dosbox, you do not run the front-end from a terminal session, just as you would with any other Mac OS X program.

From Petit dosbox make sure you specify both: the path where DosBox is stored and the path of the drive you want to mount. That, you can do by using the Browse/Set path buttons. Just navigate through your Macintosh file system as you would do with any other program to select the path!
