I cant run DosBox.......
This is what I get......

"The keyboard driver specified by the KEYBOARD= line in the [386Enh] section of the system.ini file is incompatable with the current version of Windows."
(OK)
DosBox fails to load......

Any clues anyone....
Thanks in advance.

????
Do you mean that you are using Windows ME oin your computer, you downloaded DOSBOX 0.63, installed it and when starting DOSBOX, it shows that message?

I haver never ever heard about it - looks like some bad driver in registry or system.ini... The simplest solution would be probably to reinstall Windows...
What kind of keyboard do you use? In any case this is not an error reported by DOSBOX, but by Windows. So my advice - do the clean Windows installation.

that's right.....
I installed DosBox into my newly installed Windows ME.
Once I click on the shortcut to DosBox, this msg appears....

I am using Microsoft's Multimedia keyboard Basic.
I checked the keyboard driver (installed in com)
and the one on the WindowsME CD, they are the same......

Thanks for the reply
Still clueless.....

Hey....... when I was writing the prev. post.
I was still thinking about the keyboard driver.....
Although I used "File Compare" to compare the two drivers
and it says they are identical yesterday....
I went ahead and replaced it with the one from the CD...
and IT WORKED!!! 😅

Restarted the computer and it still works, no other complications.
Thanks.
