As a answer for this topic:
Free space is limited to 110 MB?

I have three partitions in my computer, the first one with 80 GB and 17 GB of freespace formatted using NTFS.
I mount this HD by using "mount C c:\" and when I check the freespace, it exactly says "110,540,800 Bytes Free"
The second one, 20 GB with 5 GB free, FAT32 formatted:
"mount D d:\" and "110,540,800 Bytes Free"
The third one, 20 GB with 780 MB free, NTFS formatted:
"mount E e:\" and "110,540,800 Bytes Free"
Which makes 105 MB (ok, not 110 as I said)

I've been using DosBox for a long time and the mount command is the FIRST thing you have to learn, it was very rude closing the thread like that.

The readme file does not says this, this page
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php? … rograms%2FMount
does not says anything nor the rest of the webpage either.
I hope it was just a misunderstanding.

Thanks anyway

The point is that the answer to your question is very clearly stated in the README file. There is a standing policy from Mirek that anything that is a commonly answered FAQ, and is around in easily obtainable documentation will have its thread closed, no question. Check out the README again.

We could have bet about some money that it is there even with examples 😀... I would have been rich ... There is the following in the README (maybe now you will understand why I closed your thread):

...
MOUNT "Emulated Drive letter" "Real Drive or Directory"
[-t type] [-aspi] [-ioctl] [-usecd number] [-size drivesize]
[-label drivelabel] [-freesize size_in_mb]
...
-size drivesize
Sets the size of the drive.

-freesize size_in_mb
Sets the amount of free space available on a drive in MB's. This
is a more simple version of -size.
...
General MOUNT Examples:
...
4. To mount a drive with 870 mb free diskspace (simple version):
mount c d:\ -freesize 870
5. To mount a drive with 870 mb free diskspace (experts only, full control):
mount c d:\ -size 4025,127,16513,1700

Thanks for the notice. I have now update the Mount page to include the -size and -freesize options (but no examples yet).

Btw, you are more than welcome to edit the page yourself and add the missing examples.
