Hi all, I posted this problem about six months ago and got no resolution so I though I’d try again. When I try to run any games in DOSBox a small strip of the left side of the screen wraps around to the right side. I’ve tried messing with my monitor settings, screen resolution and even switched monitors and updated my vid drivers, but nothing fixes it. Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Here are my relevant system specs:

Do the same thing happen if you run one of the little wonders from http://www.256b.com/ in full screen mode from the XP CMD.EXE ??

Try this one: http://www.256b.com/download/375

Haven't used those demos but it's possible they use a color mode that's not compatible with DosBox, since DosBox only supports 8bit and they probably want 15,16, or 32bit.

Have you tried aspect=true in dosbox.conf or any of the other screen options?

DosFreak - I specifically said "in full screen mode from the XP CMD.EXE", so DOSBox should not be a factor.

On my system, I get a nice rotating, purple/orange torroid on a greenish background with both XP/CMD.EXE and DOSBox.

If Netskimmer/Guest gets garbled graphics, then something is(?) wrong with his graphics card/driver - which explains the problem with graphics wraparound in games.

Well you should definetly try the latest ATI drivers.

Latest are CAT v5.1 which according to the info you posted you don't have installed.

Doubt they'll fix your prob tho.

It happens starting in full screen and window. I know it doesn't look too bad from the screen shot but it gets annoying, especially with an animation playing.

Do not expect support for 0.61. It is taken as normal, that anybody wanting any help here uses the latest version!
If you have problems with some games in the newest version, then report them! Otherwise they cannot be repaired.
