Hi,

i've a problem when I'm running dosbox with the internal xorg radeon-driver it is too slow (unusable).
Using the original ATI-Driver Dosbox runs very well (like under windows)
I had this problem with different Versions of Dosbox (0.58 , 0.62 , 0.63)
I don't want to use the ATI-drivers, because of framebuffer problems and problems switching screen resultion.
Can somebody help.

Thanks Fabian

Under Linux I use opengl as my output renderer. If you run in a window, set hwscale to 1.50, or 2.00 to get a nice sized window. I've noticed that the scalers use more CPU on Linux than they do on Windows. I think this is because the Windows drivers have better 2D acceleration. So I just leave the scaler set to normal, or normal2x.

I use Nvidia drivers under Linux. I've heard the ATI cards just don't have as good Linux support yet. (Nvidia's drivers are not perfect either).
