Hi!
I had some weird keyboard problems when running doxbox 0.63 on Debian/sarge (I'm using the dosbox-package from the Debian tree). After reading about keyb.com and the keyboard-mapper I could get nearly all keys of my German QWERTZ-keyboard working.
One last (but very anoying) problem is that the keymapper expects a QWERTY-layout, which has one fewer key than my QWERTZ-keyboard has. It's the "<"-key between the left shift-key and the the key that is labeled "z" on QWERTY-boards (photo: [1])
Since this key doesn't exist in the keymapping-screen, I can't map anything and the key doesn't produce ANY character at all in dosbox. On QWERTZ-boards the key produces <, > and |, which are quite important.
Because the key doesn't seem to emit any scancode in the dosbox, keyb & co. also can't translate it...
Any hints?
Regards, Till.
