Is there any DOSBox branch/fork which support plugins system to install virtual expansion cards and their optional ROMs?
I want to make my own virtual expansion card which emulate a custom hardware, as a plugin. I have no problem with that.
I only need a DOSBox branch/fork which can see and use the plugin.
Of course, my plugin must adhere with the plugin system's API specification.

DOSBox-X has support for loading the original PC/XT ROM for the integrated BASIC, and you can also load a VGA BIOS ROM, like the Tseng Labs. But no support for loading arbitrary ROMs.

SVN had the ROM loading feature before forks did, but it's obviously not what the thread starter is looking for.
