I have the correct path mounted but when I attempt to run the exe I get the following message.

"This is a windows 95 executable."

And nothing happens. I checked the compatibility under properties and it wasn't turned on. I've tried turning on the compatiblity and tried it under both windows95 and 98 and neither worked.

System:
WinXP home
p4 1.8ghz
640mb ram
geforce4 ti 4200

DOSBox is AN EMULATOR FOR MS-DOS ONLY (right now). You cannot run windows executables from within it.

does phantasmagoria 1 run in dosbox ? im thinking of downloading a version but dont know whic one i should get

Yes, phantasmagoria runs in DosBox. Not sure what the speed is like since it's been awhile since I played it but with all the FMV it's probably up there in the system specs....so you'd probably need a fairly powerful computer.
